Chenar at birth, 1991, Sulaymaniyah – Kurdstan. A painting graduate from Sulaymaniyah Fine Art Institute. His work attempts to unravel the cycles of youth and nostalgia through the human body in its most dream-like state. Through his use of nudity he portrays a naturalistic approach to a positive view of the body, eliminating the common negative stereotypes – often a product of our society’s vision of clothing and other “fashions”.
